GRA Training on New Tax System

GeGov is building capacity through system specific training for Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) Operational staff. 

Numerous GRA staff have been trained on the tripsTM system, the most recent of whom graduated at the GCNet office on the 9th May, 2012.  Participants were given theoretical presentations on the modules after which they received hands-on practical training on the system itself. 

The training was focused on Taxpayer Registration and Task Management.  Taxpayer Registration is the capturing of Taxpayer details onto the system to facilitate Taxpayer Management.  It is integrated with other systems and checks third party Databases to validate the Registration.  Task Management is an internal functionality that manages the modules within the system.

More training will be delivered e.g. Taxpayer & Revenue Accounting, Returns Processing and many more.
